2021 Honda CR-V
Japanese manufacturers Toyota and Honda
have both been successful in the American auto market. The country’s residents
have displayed tremendous love for pickup trucks, SUVs, and crossovers over the
years, which is evident through the sales of the Honda CR-V. This vehicle is
simply a benchmark in the compact SUV space due to its ability to perform all
tasks well. No significant changes have been made for the 2021 model, but it’s
still an excellent offering.
What
Trims are Available?
Four primary trims are on offer here,
namely, EX. LX, EX-L, and Touring. In addition to these, hybrid models of all
trims except EX are available. Among the trims, EX hybrid is an excellent
choice as it combines great interior features and standard safety features with
high fuel efficiency.
Exterior
Beauty:
In 2020, subtle changes were made to the
CR-V’s front and rear bumpers, and the same have been carried forward to 2021.
Sculpted lines of design can be seen all around the vehicle. At the front, the
grille looks like the opening of an angry mouth. The 2021 Honda CR-V presents a
masculine and aggressive appearance at the front. LED daytime running lights
and LED fog lights are available on the EX.
18 inch alloy wheels make the CR-V appear
solid. It gets a shark fin antenna and a spoiler and the rear. Taillights
appear as though they are smoked. Black cladding is present at the bottom of
the rear bumper. Compared to the HRV, this vehicle does look more muscular.
Engine
Specifications:
Buyers will get to see a 1.5 liter,
4-cylinder engine with 190 hp of power and 179 lbs.-ft of torque under the hood
of this SUV. This engine has been mated to a CVT (Continuously Variable
Transmissions), which is easily the best CVT available in the country today.
However, towing capacity stands at a meager 1500 pounds. Whether commutes are
long or short, the 2021 Honda CR-V makes them pleasant for all. The vehicle’s
cabin is well insulated as well.
Apart from the above powerplant, there is
also a 2.0 liter hybrid engine with 2 electric motors that is available for the
hybrid variants of the CR-V. In total, this engine produces 212 hp of power.
The hybrid engine is smoother and quieter than the above powertrain.
Interior
Beauty:
Seats in the 2021 Honda CR-V are very
supportive and comfortable. Although this is a compact SUV, it is as large as a
mid-size vehicle on the inside. For starters, the trunk has enormous space, at
39.2 cubic feet behind the second row. Cloth upholstery is present in the EX.
Tremendous legroom and headroom can be seen in the rear seat. Rear AC vents and
USB ports are available for this row even in the EX trim. Seats are comfortable
at the rear.
